Project under way

Limón Cruise Terminal & Marina

The government is driving a new cruise terminal and marina in Limón: an investment of close to US$850 million across some 27 hectares, with a berth for two cruise ships, a marina, retail and hotels. It is the most ambitious port project on the Caribbean coast in decades.

Our proposal

The breakwater and the docks define how long the terminal will last, and they demand massive, dense, angular rock that resists sea water — exactly what Tajo Basalto offers. We propose supplying that rock from within Limón itself, less than 30 km from the site, with certified quality and full traceability.
